The Canary Island of Tenerife is one of my favorite trail running destinations for two reasons: A great winter climate and an incredible variety of landscapes, flora, and excellent trails in close proximity. Few places boast volcanic, high altitude plateaus, laurel cloud forests, sweeping coastlines, and much more – all within an hour’s drive.
Individual posts below describe the trails illustrated with lots of photographs. For detailed maps including gps data follow the links to my Komoot Collections.
As this blog has just gone live, I will be adding many more completed trail-run descriptions over the coming weeks.
